Maps for major day hiking trails in Ely, Minn.

North American Bear Center Interpretive Trails
From waterfalls to walks around backwoods lakes, the Ely, Minn., offers a number of great day hiking trails to explore.

Surrounded by the Superior National Forest and considered the gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Ely is prime hiking and camping country. Bear Head Lake State Park also is nearby.
