Latest Hittin’ the Trail guidebooks to premiere at Authors’ Market

I’ll unveil my latest two Hittin’ the Trail guidebooks, Day Hiking Trails of Bayfield County and Day Hiking Trails of Sawyer County at Redbery Books in Cable, Wis., on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Each book describes more than a hundred day hiking trails in their respective counties and the communities surrounding them. They mark the eighth and ninth books in the Hittin’ the Trail series.

The unveiling will be held during Redbery Books’ Authors’ Market, which features eight authors from, or who have written about, the Cable area. The market runs from 1 to 3 p.m.; Redbery Books is located at 43455 Kavanaugh Road, in scenic downtown Cable.

Both new hiking guidebook, as well as my other titles, will be available for sale at Redbery Books during the event.

Author releases day hiking guidebook to Bayfield County, Wis.

The second in a pair of new hiking guidebooks I’m releasing this holiday season is now available. Day Hiking Trails of Bayfield County describes more than a hundred trails in Bayfield County, which sits at the top of the Wisconsin Northwoods along Lake Superior. A popular tourist destination, Bayfield County is host to the annual American Birkebeiner, the largest cross-country ski race in North America, and to the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival. Trails in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, the Chequamegon National Forest, and the Brule River State Forest can be found in the volume. The book marks the eighth title in the popular and bestselling “Hittin’ the Trail” hiking guide series. It is available for purchase online.
